The Bureau of Reclamation, Missouri Basin Region, intends to issue a Commercial Request for

Quote (RFQ) for the following supplies:

Specifications:

2000 Tons of limestone gravel material crushed: Granular material of which 30% of the particles on the No. 4 sieve shall contain one or more fractured faces.

A. The limestone gravel material will be from a quarry that is an approved commercial pit permitted by the State of South Dakota in compliance with SDCL 45-6 that has met the state requirements for archaeological, cultural and SHPO clearances.

B. Materials shall be weighed at a state certified scale. Weight of gravel material shall be to the nearest 0.1 ton, and load weight tickets shall be provided to the Contracting Officer’s

Representative. Material shall be furnished, delivered, and neatly stockpiled in a single pile with any equipment needed provided by the contractor to the Fruitdale area at Belle

Fourche Reservoir. Locations are shown on the attached map and the final location shall be determined by Reclamation.

C. Gravel surfacing shall meet the following requirements.

1. The gravel material shall consist of a crushed limestone.

2. The gravel shall meet the following gradation requirements by dry weight:

3. Crushed: Granular material of which 30% of the particles on the No. 4 sieve shall contain one or more fractured faces.

4. The P. I. of the filter material shall not exceed twelve (12).

Delivery

The contractor will deliver the limestone gravel to the Fruitdale Area at Belle Fourche Reservoir where an existing gravel pile is in place. The material will be neatly stockpiled with the existing gravel in a single pile. See Attached map for specific location. Coordinates 44.68872° N, 103.69981° W.

Location

The gravel material shall be delivered and stockpiled as shown on the attached map. The location is at the Belle Fourche Reservoir located at Township 9 North, Range 3 East of the

Black Hills Meridian. Belle Fourche Reservoir is located approximately 10 miles east of Belle

Fourche, South Dakota. The reservoir is accessible from Belle Fourche by traveling east on

U.S. Highway 212 for approximately 10 miles. The Fruitdale Area can be accessed directly from 212 onto an existing road. FOB Destination of all supplies with an anticipated delivery date on or before July 31, 2025.

It is anticipated the simplified acquisition set aside will be a Total Small Business with Lowest

Price Technically Acceptable evaluation criteria.

It is intended the Request for Quote (RFQ) will be posted on or about 15 July 2025 via the

SAM.gov website.

It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the SAM.gov web page for RFQ release and all subsequent amendments.

The product service code is 5610 and the NAICS code is 212321.

HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Quotations are not requested and will not be accepted from this Pre-Solicitation Notice.

It is required all companies are to be actively registered in SAM.gov prior to submitting a quotation for this solicitation.
