Would the successful offeror replace work currently being performed by FOH, or supplement their work?

Replace FOH

What is the current annual workload of reviews by Medical Officer. For example, number of RMO reviews per year? Is it possible to provide breakdown per state or by USMS region (Circuit)?

Approximately 5,200. At this time, we are not able to provide a breakdown by Circuits.

If USMS does issue an RFP, what is the contemplated timeline (we realize this could be subject to change/adjustment)?

At this time, we are just beginning to gather information and as such, not able to provide a cogent timeline.

In Section 3.0 below, “Responders must also include the ability to medically qualify the CSO on a bi-annual basis.” We are just curious, is there interest in amending the process as such? For all CSOs? Selected CSOs? (either way, our MRO infrastructure could accommodate wither workflow)

Yes, there is interest for all CSOs. Also, we may entertain reviewing the medicals by birth year/vs review year, i.e. if one is born in an even ending year (1996), the review would occur in an even year (2014.

I am hoping to try and find out if the work outlined in the SSN is currently being performed under any incumbent contracts or task orders for the USMS, or if this is new work that may be procured. If there are any incumbents, I am hoping to learn the names of any and all contractors and the corresponding contract or deliver order numbers.

Currently, the work is being performed under contract with the USMS. We will not be releasing the names of the incumbent.
