Questions and Answers:
Question 1:
Please explain the minimum guarantee.
MINIMUM GUARANTEE
The minimum guarantee is calculated based on 10% of the total estimated dollar amount for the
Base Year only. The minimum guaranteed dollar amount may be met by ordering from any line item in the Base Year. The guaranteed minimums for any Option Years will also be 10% of the estimated dollar amount, but will only be effective if the Option Years are exercised.
For instance, if a contract is awarded for $100,000 for the base year, the minimum guarantee would be $10,000. If a contract is awarded for $500,000 for the base year, the minimum guarantee would be $50,000. This would be the same calculation for each option year that is exercised.
Question 2:
Please explain the contract maximum.
CONTRACT MAXIMUM
The contract maximum for each contract year is 50% of the estimates identified in the Price
Schedule. The estimated maximum for any of the Option Years will also be 50% of the estimated maximum, but will only be effective if the Option Years are exercised.
For instance, if a contract is awarded for $100,000 for the base year, the maximum contract value for that year would be $150,000. If a contract is awarded for
$500,000 for the base year, the maximum contract value would be $750,000 for that year. This would be the same calculation for each option year that is exercised.
Question 3:
Are the estimated 31 total vehicles to be held and maintained in storage based on the average from the past recent years?
The estimated quantities are based on historical data for the selected geographic region.
Question 4:
What is the lowest number of vehicles that were held and maintained in storage during the past contract term?
Quantities can change on a daily basis. Please use the estimated quantities listed on the pricing schedule for your proposal and note that this is an IDIQ contract.
