Text version

Q: Please confirm if the Silvus radio can be permanently mounted internally to the aircraft for better aerodynamics and support, to use internal power from the aircraft (and external airborne optimized antennae). Would other radios need to be mounted? Such as Doodle Labs or Persistent Systems? For best performance and range antenna specifically designed for airborne application are recommended rather than those supplied for handheld, ground units.

A: The Silvus radio could be mounted internally but in no way necessary. We do require the radio to be powered via the drone.

We have no other mesh radio systems besides Silvus. Therefore, Silvus integration is the requirement.
