About this file
This sources sought is a market research document from Red River Army Depot (RRAD) seeking potential vendors for a computer-controlled diesel injector pump and test stand. The equipment must be capable of testing all makes and models of fuel injection pumps, including automotive in-line, rotary, and common rail pumps up to eight cylinders, with specific requirements to test Stanadyne DB2 fuel injector pumps. The vendor will be responsible for shipping, unloading, installation, and providing 40 hours of on-site training to RRAD personnel.
Key technical specifications include the ability to read all 8 injector outputs simultaneously, display measurements in American standard pressures and temperatures, and include one set of accessories, adapters, and special tooling. The test stand must be wired for American power, locally serviceable, and include a standalone closed-loop chiller unit if water cooling is required. RRAD is requesting a rough order of magnitude pricing for total equipment, delivery, installation, and training. This is a market research initiative only, and no award will be made from the responses received.

Diesel Injector Pump/Test Stand Description:
Red River Army Depot (RRAD) in Texarkana, TX, is seeking sources related to the procurement, installation, commissioning, and training for a computer controlled diesel injector pump and diesel injector test stand with associated accessories to test fuel injector pumps. The vendor would be responsible for shipping, unloading, installation of all equipment and provide 40 hours of on-site training to RRAD personnel.
The equipment would be capable of testing all makes and models of fuel injection pumps, including automotive type in-line, rotary, and common rail pumps up to eight (8) cylinders. In addition, the test stand would be capable of testing EUI, EUP, and common rail fuel injectors with the addition of adapter kits and accessories.
Specifically, the test stand would include one (1) set of all accessories, adapters, and special tooling required to test the Stanadyne DB2 fuel injector pumps in accordance with the test stand OEM’s standard practice. The equipment must be able to read all 8 injector outputs simultaneously. Display must be in American standard pressures, temperatures and all other aspects of the test. It must be locally serviced.
Equipment would be wired for American power so that no adapters are necessary.
If water cooling is required, the vendor would be required to provide and install a stand-alone closed loop chiller unit.
***Rough Order of Magnitude pricing on total equipment (delivery), install, and training is requested**
