About this file

The document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for overhauling a Delmag Model D6-32 Diesel Hammer for the U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center. The SOW requires a comprehensive overhaul process including complete disassembly, inspection, component renewal, testing, and documentation. Specific requirements include visually inspecting all components, renewing critical parts like hoses, gaskets, and filters, performing compression and operational tests, and preparing a final report documenting maintenance tasks and test results.

The solicitation (70Z08525Q49004B00) is for three diesel hammers, with a delivery deadline of November 8, 2025. The government believes only Bauer-Pileco Inc. or their authorized repair facilities can successfully repair these items, and vendors must be an authorized distributor with written documentation. Award will be made to the lowest-price technically acceptable offeror, with quotes due by June 21, 2025. The total evaluated price will be based on labor rates, estimated repair hours, and material percentage, with the final repair cost negotiated after an initial open and inspect report.
