About this file
This document is a request for quotation (RFQ) for a state and local contract opportunity issued by the Broome Developmental Disabilities Services Office (Broome DDSO) for the demolition and construction of a new deck, ramp, and steps at a residential facility located in Smithville Flats, New York. The project involves the complete demolition of the existing deck, ramp, and concrete foundations, and the installation of a new pressure-treated wood-framed deck with a composite deck surface, aluminum railings, and a concrete landing and ramp. The RFQ outlines a mandatory site visit on March 14, 2024, and requires the submission of quotes by the close of business on March 22, 2024. The contract will be awarded to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. The project must be completed within 60 days of receiving the purchase order.
The RFQ specifies that prevailing wages will apply to this project, and the awarded vendor must submit certified payroll records. The contract is not a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside. The Broome DDSO reserves the right to reject any and all quotes and requires the successful vendor to provide certificates of liability and workers' compensation insurance, as well as completed lobbying law forms and a signed Appendix A.
