Additional RFI Information during Market Research

1) What is the form factor of the GFE PC for the desk?

Small FF Desktop with separate monitor.

2) Do you require laptop connectivity at the desk, in addition to the integrated GFE PC?

No. we can just run the CAT6 from existing from the front of the room.

3) Do you require simultaneous input connections at the conference table, or only one at a time? (i.e. would you have a need to display a separate input on the two displays concurrently?) We did not discuss that one. HDMI 1 and 2 should be separate inputs if possible.

4) Do you require network connectivity at the conference table and if so, how many connections?

Not specified/required. If possible run 2 cat6 in conduit from conference table jack to wall “A” jack. Then customer can plug in patch cable to wall “A” jack if they need to turn on ports.

5) Can equipment be mounted on the underside of the conference table?

Yes possible. It is customer's table and it's solid wood.

6) Do you have the room dimensions? 26 feet x 17 feet; and I believe 12 foot high drop ceiling tiles

7) Regarding Supply Item 6 - Modern Podium Desk. Medium AV Desk.

Please clarify, is this required to be a Podium configuration, rather than a sitting desk?

Intended to be sitting Desk with cabinet to hold any racked equipment required. Also we'll place a desktop computer there to push powerpoint slides etc.

8) Does location A, on your drawing, have a duplex power receptacle installed behind the display?

There is power outlet below the monitor, 12 inch off the floor.

9) Will location B require installation of a power receptacle?

No, but it is located 12 inch off floor.

10) Will location C require installation of a power receptacle?

No, there is a receptacle within 5 feet of that corner.

11) Please clarify the camera quantity, I am assuming one. Is this correct?

One. I don't know too much about the camera, so I just said equivalent to Vaddio Roboshot 12E that was recommended by another vendor.

12) Is the type of construction for the walls adjacent to A, B and C, drywall and is wall penetration allowed? Yes Drywall with metal studs for all walls except the window wall that is CMU. Penetration is allowed for all mounting. We have an FMO office that we just need to keep in the loop.

13) There appears to be cable access slots down the center of the table. Are those removable panels and do you have more details of the table design for the mounting of BYOD input connections? Those are flip up covers to run cables. Required jacks are 2 HDMI at minimum. Can discuss recommendations.

14) Are all input locations (GFE PC and the two HDMI inputs on the table) required to have USB connections for soft Codec operation?

Yes.

15) Are there Direct TV coax drops installed at the A and B display locations?

The Coax is fed from the ceiling in the drywall and there is a coax jack at the corner of Wall “A” near window. There is only one direct TV box.

16) Is Direct TV tuner control required via the control system at the touch panels, or just display input selection?

I visualized select input/output from touch screen. Input=DirectTV :

Output=Monitor A. Then we can control the channels from the Direct TV remote.
