About this file

This document is a Description of Requirement for a Handheld Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) system. The requirement specifies procurement of one portable, nondestructive GPR device capable of determining concrete layer thickness and detecting embedded objects. Key technical specifications include a stepped frequency continuous wave technology, modulated frequency range of 400-4000 MHz, six antennas, 25 cm scan width with 80 cm penetration depth, and a scanning rate of 1,200 scans/second. The device must weigh 3.0 kg, have removable batteries, USB-C connectivity, support multiple data export formats, include integrated data visualization, and come with a protective carrying case and quick start guide.

Delivery requirements stipulate shipment within 15 days following contract award to 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180. Additional requirements include a one-time software license, proven records of GPR application on concrete pavements, and capabilities for on-site data analysis and inspection. The system's compact dimensions (41.5 x 22.5 x 13.2 cm) and lightweight design suggest it is intended for field operations requiring mobile, quick-response concrete scanning and analysis.
