This document is a Delivery Schedule for a food service contract covering the third quarter of 2026 (July 1 – September 30, 2026).
The schedule establishes four delivery options with varying frequencies. Schedule 1 requires all items to be delivered between July 1 and July 15, 2026, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Schedule 2 specifies bi-weekly deliveries with an estimated seven total deliveries during the quarter. Schedule 3 requires weekly deliveries with approximately 13 deliveries during the quarter. Schedule 4 mandates twice-weekly deliveries with an estimated 26 deliveries. All deliveries must occur Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., with scheduling coordination between vendor and Food Service Staff for Schedules 2, 3, and 4. The Food Service Warehouse contact numbers are (256) 315-4219 and (256) 315-4184.
Specific requirements include mandatory palletization of all deliveries; non-frozen perishable foods must arrive at 34–40 degrees Fahrenheit, while frozen foods must arrive at 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below with no evidence of prior thawing. All Certified Religious Diet Items require appropriate marking or face refusal. Items undergo close inspection and may be conditionally received for three days of testing, including thawing and cooking if necessary. Non-compliant items will be refused and must be picked up by the vendor at their own expense within two weeks of notification; items not retrieved within two weeks will be disposed of by the buyer. Vendors failing to meet delivery schedules are subject to removal from future solicitations.
