About this file

This document outlines delivery requirements for food items at FCC Hazelton's warehouse facility. The requirements detail specific temperature controls for different food categories: non-frozen perishables must be delivered between 34-40°F, canned goods above 34°F (non-frozen), and frozen foods at 0°F or below. Products showing signs of prior thawing will be refused.

All deliveries must be palletized unless pre-arranged with warehouse staff, and religious diet items must display Kosher symbols on individual packages and comply with BOP National Menu Specifications. The facility implements a conditional receipt period of three days for inspection and testing. Unacceptable items must be retrieved by vendors within two days of notification at their expense, and items not picked up within two weeks will be disposed of by warehouse staff. This document supports a solicitation for Q2 FY25 dairy products to be delivered between January 1-March 31, 2025 to FCC Hazelton in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia.
