About this file

This document is a Bid Questions file for the Deep Creek State Recreation Area (SRA) Facility Rehabilitation Project No. 71003-1, issued by the Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation. The file contains a specific query from a potential bidder regarding a series of pipe studs discovered near the project's paving area, with accompanying photographs. The department's response indicates that the pipe stubs are currently not considered within the project paving area, and their potential removal will be addressed via Change Order on a case-by-case basis if they are determined to impede pavement installation.

The images show two photographs of the project site, depicting a graveled area with dried grass and pipe studs, set against a cloudy sky with water or coastline visible in the background. The first image provides a wider view of the landscape, while the second image focuses more closely on the pipe studs adjacent to the gravel surface. The document is dated March 14, 2025, and appears to be part of the pre-bid communication process for clarifying project details and potential site conditions prior to the bid submission deadline of March 27, 2025.
