About this file

This document outlines the standard terms and conditions for a quick quote solicitation for the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR). The solicitation is for "All or None" hatchery supplies for the Marine Resource Division. The items being requested must be the exact specified items with no substitutions allowed. Vendors must be authorized resellers/distributors/inspectors/installers of the specified items, and must be registered in the Alabama Buys portal to submit a proposal. Proposals must include all costs to complete the work or provide the requested items. Any defective items will be returned to the vendor for replacement at their cost. The award will go to the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications.

Pricing terms require vendors to fill in the unit price and supplier part number. If the solicitation specifies "or equal" items, vendors must provide specifications for any substitutions. For certain commodity items like seed, feed, and pesticides, the manufacturer's label must be attached. Site visits are mandatory for some solicitations. Vendors must respond to any additional information requests within 5 days. Failure to adhere to the terms and conditions may result in the proposal being rejected.
