About this file
This document is a Notice of Intent to Award for a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget Printing Services. The RFQ is for a 2-part non-carbon required (NCR) print job (DCH-0503-P) with a quantity of 10,000. The recommended vendor is WALKER, based on providing the best value in terms of turnaround time, pricing, and experience. The RFQ was open to multiple bidders, including Image Printing, ShayLeslie, and Smart Source, in addition to the recommended vendor.
The pricing details show that WALKER offered the lowest bid at $980.00, with a 13-day turnaround and confirmation that they are able to print the job in Michigan. The other bidders had higher prices ranging from $1,103.90 to $1,310.00, with varying turnaround times and in-state printing capabilities. The Notice indicates that Printing Services may elect to perform the work in-house if deemed appropriate, and provides instructions for vendors to initiate a protest of the award decision.
