About this file
This document is a set of questions and answers related to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Black Hawk DCAT Governance Board for Youth Diversion Services in Black Hawk County, Iowa. The RFP seeks a contractor to provide crisis intervention, parent/child mediation, and individual support services for parents and youth in the county. The expected capacity for this current service is between 100-120 clients per fiscal year. The contract has historically been funded at $50,000 per year, but this amount has been insufficient, leading the Board to increase the funding to $70,000 for FY25. Future funding at this level will depend on the extension of the contract and availability of funds.
The document indicates that this is an existing service that has been in place since SFY22. The contract payment methodology is based on a fixed amount per fiscal year, subject to the available funding. Bidders should be aware that the increase in funding to $70,000 for FY25 is contingent on the extension of the contract and availability of funds in subsequent years.
