About this file

This document is a Darfur Contracting Act Certification form required by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife for bidders on state and local contracts. The certification requires bidders to disclose whether they currently have or have had within the previous three years any business activities or operations outside of the United States. Bidders must initial one of three provided paragraphs to certify their status. If the bidder has foreign operations, they must further certify that they are not a "scrutinized company" as defined in the Public Contract Code. This certification must be submitted with all bids or proposals to the Department of Fish and Wildlife.

The certification outlines the legal requirements and penalties for false certification under California law. It does not provide any details about the specific contract opportunity, products or services requested, bidding process, or other contract terms. The document is focused solely on the disclosure requirements related to foreign business activities.
