About this file
This is a Darfur Contracting Certification document required by the State of California under Public Contract Code sections 10476-10478. The certification applies to bidders and proposers with business activities or operations outside the United States within the previous three years. Bidders must complete one of three options: certify they have no foreign business activities, declare scrutinized company status with DGS written permission to bid, or certify foreign operations while declaring non-scrutinized status. The document requires submission of the company name, Federal ID Number, and authorization from a company official, along with their printed name, title, and signature.
The certification must be completed under penalty of perjury and executed in compliance with California state law. Bidders selecting Option 3 must provide an authorized signature from an official legally empowered to bind the company, along with the county and state where the certification is executed. This certification is a mandatory eligibility requirement for contract participation and must be included with the bid or proposal submission.
