About this file

This document is a Darfur Contracting Act Certification related to a state and local contract opportunity for Vending Machine Relocation, Installation, Removal, Service and Repair for the California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR). The DOR's Business Enterprises Program (BEP) provides training, licensure, and self-employment opportunities for persons who are legally blind in the management of food service and vending facilities on public and private properties throughout the state. The contract requires the contractor to evaluate any problems and consult with the Business Enterprise Consultant on the repairs and operation of the equipment. Bidders must have a valid California business license, appropriate insurance, and comply with various state and federal requirements, including non-delinquency on taxes and lack of federal debarment or suspension.

The contract opportunity has a Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) incentive. Bidders must meet the minimum qualifications outlined, including licenses, permits, and insurance coverage. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder who meets the requirements. The contract term and any renewal options are not specified in the provided information.
