About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for hull cleaning services for the USCGC DANIEL TARR, issued by the US Coast Guard Surface Force Logistics Center. The solicitation (52000QR250020524) seeks a contractor to clean the ship's hull due to performance issues caused by hull growth, which is preventing the vessel from completing a full power trial. The service requirements include performing hull cleaning at the cutter's homeport in Galveston, TX from August 11-13, 2025, during working hours of 0730-1600, while complying with base access, security, and safety regulations.

The procurement is a small business set-aside with a NAICS code of 336611 and a small business size standard of 1,250. Interested vendors must submit a firm-fixed price quote by August 4, 2025, at 9:00 AM EST, including a cost breakdown, unit costs, and company details. Quotes should be emailed to Timothy Ford and must include warranty information. Vendors must be registered in SAM.gov, and the government reserves the right to award the contract on an all-or-none basis to the offeror providing the most advantageous and best value quote, considering price, specifications, past performance, and quality.
