About this file
This is an Agency Agreement/Authorization form that allows a property owner to designate a property manager to act on their behalf regarding a government lease. The form requires the property owner to certify and name their authorized agent who will have legal authority to: sign the lease and any supplements/amendments, collect monies due under the lease terms, handle maintenance matters for the premises and equipment, sign releases of U.S. government obligations, and manage all other lease-related matters. The document includes spaces for the owner to list their name, the property address to be leased to the government, the designated agent's name, and requires the owner's signature, printed name and title at the bottom.
This form is Exhibit J referenced in the associated federal contract opportunity DACA675250001000, which seeks to lease retail space in Longview, Washington for an Armed Forces Career Center. The form would need to be completed by any property owner using a property manager to handle the proposed 4,664 square foot retail space lease.
