All units received with EPROMs loaded with versions less than v2.9 will be erased and reloaded with v2.9 firmware prior to final checkout. (v2.9 firmware and EPROM stickers are available upon request)

NRC Final Acceptance: All repaired and reconditioned D925 Handar 550A units will be inspected for material workmanship and tested for operational performance at the NRC in accordance with the listed specifications. To meet the material workmanship requirements, the units will need to be in an operationally “Like New” condition and free of corrosion on pins and connectors. This unit is not a painted chassis and therefore minor scratches and imperfections on the outside of the chassis will be acceptable. However, the outer case does need to be free of cracks and broken pieces both internally and externally in order to maintain protection from environmental conditions. The Instrument
Inspection Unit will verify units meet both material and operational requirements and test each unit for proper and accurate functionality in the unit’s D925 LARC System. Soldering and circuit board repair shall be in accordance with DOD-STD-2000 or commercial equivalent. Any inspected item that does not meet the acceptance criteria will be returned to the vendor for rework at no additional cost to the government.
Deliverables: Each repaired and reconditioned D925 Handar 550A, by serial number, shall be supplied with a Repair Report documenting the repair, reconditioning and inspection to include results of all tests and failure analysis.
