Solicitation No. D15PS00304: Purchase various categories of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) as specified in the Solicitation

Agency: Department of the Interior, Office of Aviation Services (OAS)

The purpose of this solicitation is to award a contract to support Department of the Interior (DOI) requirements for purchasing Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). The aircraft will be operated by Government pilots and used mainly for remote sensing in various scientific operations throughout the Department.

This requirement is Total Small Business Set- Aside, NAICS Code 336411, Aircraft Manufacturing with a size standard of 1500 employees.

The Government contemplates award of an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract with fixed price delivery orders using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

You are urged to carefully read the solicitation in its entirety.

Section D, Instructions to Offerors, discusses what you should do to submit a proposal and how we will evaluate the proposals received. Prior to submission of your proposal, please check to see that you have included all the information requested. Failure to include the information identified may adversely affect the evaluation of your proposal.

• Successful offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order for an award to be made (D7.1)

Proposals are due by 2:00 PM, MST. May 19, 2015. Proposals received after this time and date would be subject to the conditions of D5, Late Submissions, Modifications, Revisions, and Withdrawals of Offers.
