Statement of Work for Services (SOW)

General Information:

Title of Project:

Annual Service and Maintenance Agreement for Waters UPLC-QDA instrument

Statement of Need and Purpose:

The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) Analytical Chemistry Core (ACC) requires an annual service and maintenance agreement for a Waters UPLC-QDA instrument equipment use by NCATS chemists. To ensure that research data remains standardized across the NCATS Chemistry Section, only Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) service and parts are acceptable to meet the needs of this requirement. Specifically, the NCATS Analytical Chemistry Core requires a service agreement that includes the instrumentation under Specific Requirements.

Background Information and Objective:

The Waters UPLC-QDA instrument yields qualitative and quantitative information about the purity of the reactions and target molecules synthesized by the NCATS chemists. This instrument is a key tool in the DPI Chemistry identification and purification process, as well as utilized for reaction screening and compound library analysis. This results in the instrument having in high use in the NCATS Chemistry labs making their constant operability a high priority to maintain productivity. This service agreement is needed to minimize down time and lost research efforts. Parts and accessories must be OEM parts that are compatible with the owned Waters UPLC-QDA system to avoid voiding the warranty. All current Waters components currently in use by our lab are listed under Specific Requirements.

Period of Performance:

Base Period (Year 1): April 04, 2021 – April 03, 2022 Option Period 1 (Year 2): April 04, 2022 – April 03, 2023 Option Period 2 (Year 3): April 04, 2023 – April 03, 2024 Option Period 3 (Year 4): April 04, 2024 – April 03, 2025
