About this file

This document is a Price Quote Proposal from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for Contract Number 11A4122, which involves resetting a traffic signal lifecycle. The project is located in San Diego County, specifically in the city of La Mesa, and has an approximate magnitude of work valued at $174,100.00. The proposal includes four primary line items: Jobsite Management, Prepare WPCP (Work Project Control Plan), Temporary Traffic Signal System Shutdown, and Traffic Signal System work. The contract appears to involve replacing existing infrastructure including a controller cabinet, pedestrian and vehicle signals, camera detector, APS (Accessible Pedestrian Signal), and associated cables, with the potential installation of an intersection camera.

The pricing is structured as a unit price contract with estimated quantities for each line item. The document indicates this is a competitive bid process where contractors must submit precise unit pricing and are subject to specific conditions, such as potential default penalties for failure to execute contract forms or unsatisfactory performance. Bidders must provide business information including their contractor's license number, license classification, small business certification (if applicable), and Department of Industrial Relations registration number. The contract appears to be a Time & Material arrangement, with potential implications for future Caltrans project eligibility based on performance and compliance.
