About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a contract for the National Institute on Aging (NIA) to obtain comprehensive immunohistochemistry analysis of 2,184 mice tissue samples. The project aims to build proteomic signatures of aging outcomes by performing histological analysis across different mouse age groups, including tissue trimming, cassette preparation, paraffin embedding, sectioning, staining, and imaging.
The contract has a one-year performance period, with the contractor required to have a Senior or Technical Researcher holding a Masters or PhD in a laboratory science field and five or more years of experience in histological methods. The contractor will deliver electronic copies of images and stained slides within 364 calendar days of receiving samples, with the NIA retaining unlimited rights to all deliverables. Key requirements include submitting progress reports, maintaining data confidentiality, and performing a detailed immunohistological study on tissue samples from different mouse organs, with generated images to be shared via a digital platform.
