About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for maintenance and repair services for a 3730XL DNA Analyzer owned by the National Institute on Aging (NIA). The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to perform preventative maintenance, install software upgrades, troubleshoot problems, and repair the DNA analyzer. The period of performance includes a base year from 11/16/24 to 11/15/25 and four option years through 11/15/29. The contractor must provide quarterly reports detailing the maintenance and repair work performed.

The related federal contract opportunity is a combined synopsis/solicitation for these commercial maintenance and repair services. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order to Life Technologies Corporation on a non-competitive basis. The anticipated period of performance mirrors the SOW. Responses to the solicitation must include details on technical capability, past performance, and pricing, with technical factors being more important than price.
