About this file
This is a high voltage electrical contractor bid specification document issued by Cuyahoga County Department of Public Works for emergency services at the Cuyahoga County Justice Center. The scope of work includes troubleshooting and testing a Motor Control Center (MCC) and electrical distribution system, repairing and delivering a PM K-Don 800 LCVB if necessary, and supplying six 15kV 125E fuses. The project is classified as mission critical and time sensitive, requiring immediate vendor availability. Cuyahoga County will provide an electrician or engineer familiar with the distribution system to support testing on-site. Bidders must include all tools, manpower, test apparatus, and associated equipment in their proposals unless otherwise specified. No specific response deadline, due date, site visit requirements, or bidders' conference is mentioned in the document.
Proposals must include comprehensive pricing with availability, lead time, labor costs, parts lead time, freight charges, and any additional applicable fees. The winning bidder must hold current High Voltage Electrical Certification with clearly evidenced experience and must register in Cuyahoga County's Infor electronic purchasing system and with the County Inspector General's Office. All quoted prices remain firm for 60 days. Vendors experiencing materially increased costs due to changes in United States tariff policies may request price increases with supporting documentation, including Rules of Origin documentation, though the County reserves the right to reject any increase if documentation does not adequately support it. Lead time and material availability may influence the final award decision.
