UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, is soliciting proposals under Request for Proposal CT2104-12 for a Commercial Item: Industrial Corn Starch. The finished goods will be made at THTM. This acquisition will result in a two (2) base years with three (3) option years firm-fixed-price, Requirements Type contract with EPA clause. Please read all posted documents carefully, in order to fully understand and comply with the proposal submission requirements. Direct your attention to all links posted in the package on FedBizOpps.
You have the ability to complete your Representations and Certifications online at www.sam.gov. See the Representations & Certifications provision in the package. If not completed online, paragraphs (c) through (o) only of the Representations & Certifications needs to be included in your package.
Your DUNS number must be included on the 1449 Form. Put it in box 17a with name, address and phone. Give special attention to the proposal submission requirements on pages 17 and 18 of the Solicitation Document. It lists 6 specific documents/forms that must be submitted as a part of your offer. Please include all 6 or your proposal may be deemed to be non-responsive and not considered at all.
The proposals are due November 28, 2012 2 pm ET. Use overnight delivery service such as FedEx, UPS or DHL.
Please submit one original copy of the proposal signed by an individual authorized to bind the offer. Faxed proposals & e-mail proposals will not be accepted. The proposal should be sent to the address below.
