Amendment 003 for CT1948-09 Page 2 Questions
1. PAC0313 is the liner single wall?
Yes the liner is a single wall.
2. PAC1076 175 DW is not a recognized grade. Do they want 42 ECT?
PAC1076 should be a single wall also, do not know what 42 ECT is. No one here has ever heard of 42 ECT, I tried to call the vendor, but he was not in. I am curious what 42 ECT is.
3. PAC1077 description asks for “box with DW-liner”. Is the liner PAC1076, and if so, is PAC1076 to be sized to fit in PAC1077? If not, what is the grade of the DW liner?
PAC1076 is the liner for PAC1077.
4. PAC1399 what is the grade of the liner?
275 single wall.
5. Do you have the cost/qty and winning bid last year?
Two sku’s were on contract, awarded 3 years ago at following: Oakdale, LA – PAC1395 @ 1.10 ea; PAC1396 @ 1.66 ea. Terre Haute, IN – PAC1395 @ 1.05 ea; PAC1396 @ 1.61 ea. Other sku’s were not on contract.
6. Can we get drawings of the liners (PAC1076)?
Drawings not available. The liner is placed into the box to give the box ADDED STRENGTH. We are required by our customer to place liners in the boxes. As the boxes sit in a warehouse, the liner prevents crushing from any stacked boxes on top of it.
7. Are the box orders to be shipped on pallets or slip sheets? Do they have a preferred number of boxes in a bundle?
We require the boxes to be delivered on pallets. This would allow fork lifts and jacks to be used. No preference on boxes per bundle. Industry standard bundle size will be appropriate. The bundles will require to be moved within warehouse & factory with a fork lift and/or a jack lift.
No additional questions will be addressed after 07/16/2009 2 pm ET (due date for proposal submission w/o pricing).
