PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT

Performance Work Statement - Scuppers SAP

1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES/INTRODUCTION:

Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD), Code 613, has been tasked with large scale fabrication of 3D printed scuppers to combat corrosion on surface fleet ships. This level of production requires 3D printers in a higher number, and with more versatile capabilities then the Navy currently has access to. This SAP will allow for LulzBot to produce enough 3D printed scuppers to meet the needs of the fleet as requested by command.

2. BACKGROUND:

The Corrosion Control Working Group has tasked SEA05 to combat corrosion throughout the fleet. SEA05P Painting Center of Excellence has funded the development of 3D printed scuppers. Code 617 in FY23 made the scuppers and performed ship inspections to determine the amount of scuppers needed for DDGs. NSWCCD Code 613 is looking to use the 3D printed Scuppers en masse to combat corrosion on DDGs, with a quick turnaround a sole source SAP is being requested to produce nine ships worth of scuppers.

3. OBJECTIVE:

This SAP is to produce nine ships worth of scuppers (18 total ship sets, two sets for each ship), this order is divided into three line items specifying the three size scuppers but, the delivery shall be bundled as listed below so that the ship sets are grouped/package separately and can be quickly sent out to ships.
