23D MAINTENANCE SQUADRON
STATEMENT OF WORK
Compressor Installation
23d Contracting Squadron
Moody AFB GA
1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES.
1.1. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, administrative support, materials, tools, parts, supplies, equipment and transportation necessary to effectively and efficiently fulfill all requirements of this Statement of Work (SOW) to accomplish the services at Moody AFB GA.
1.2. The scope of services includes the following:
1.2.1 Install one (1) new oil injected screw compressor 100 Hp, 460/3/60 TEFC; 424 CFM @ 125 psi, 89” x 43” x 77” ; tank kit to include gauge and safety valve; one (1) 500 gallon vertical receiver tank rated at 165 psi and including all necessary components to connect to existing electrical supply (480V) and air piping to main header. Attach overhang to existing structure;
pour concrete slab meeting or exceeding load requirements to support compressor (large concrete pad (~12’ x 20’)), vertical tank and all other installed equipment and install fall prevention railing.
2. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS.
2.1. New Equipment: The contractor shall supply and install one (1) new air compressor, receiver tank and all associated work for connection to interior airlines. The two existing compressors are determined to be undersized to provide adequate CFM demand to perform maintenance functions. The new compressor shall be capable of supporting all pneumatic equipment used to support HH-60 and A-10 Phase, C-130 Isochronical inspections and flightline operations.
2.2. Testing: The contractor shall be responsible to test and trouble shoot the system. The results of testing will be provided to the government in writing documenting performance that complies with paragraph 2.1 above.
2.3. Must have warranty period for replacement and/or repair of defective material. Warranty information will be provided to the government in writing.
2.4. Operation and Maintenance Manuals: The contractor shall provide the government with all O&M manuals necessary for the care and maintenance of the new equipment.
2.5. Submittals: The Contractor shall provide material submittals to the government for approval prior to purchase. The government reserves the right to disapprove of any material that it determines is not capable of meeting the performance threshold outlined in paragraph 2.2 above.
2.6. Data: The contractor shall be responsible to verify all existing site data.
2.7. Delivery: Supplies are to be delivered and installed within days of 30 days ADC.
3. CONTRACTOR’S WORK SCHEDULE.
3.1. The Contractor shall conduct all on-site work between the hours of 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday with the exception of weekends in conjunction to holiday’s list below:
3.2. Holidays:
New Year’s Day 1 January Martin Luther King’s birthday 3rd Monday in January President’s Day 3rd Monday on February Good Friday (Georgia DOL) Memorial Day Last Monday in May Independence Day 4 July Labor Day 1st Monday in September Columbus Day 2nd Monday in October Veteran’s Day 11 November Thanksgiving Day 4th Thursday in November Christmas Day 25 December
3.3. The Contractor shall coordinate any deviations from this schedule in advance with the government. All requests for schedule deviations are at the government’s discretion.
3.4. The Contractor shall provide an anticipated timeline of the planned work schedule to the government at least 3 weeks in advance of any work occurring.
4. SECURITY.
4.1. The Contractor shall obtain base entry pass prior to entry onto base. Base pass form(s) may be obtained from the contracting officer. Forms must be completed, listing each individuals required a pass, and signed by the company personnel manager and the contracting officer prior to receiving an annual pass from the Visitors Center at the South Gate.
5. LOCATION OF WORK.
5.1. All on-site work will be accomplished in building 717 on Moody AFB GA.
