Dear Quoter:
Enclosed is a solicitation package prepared by the Federal Bureau of
Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Big Spring, Texas, Contracting
Office, for the acquisition of BEEF/FISH/POULTRY/PORK for 2nd QTR FY25.
This package contains all the necessary information for submitting a request for quote (RFQ), for evaluation. Please carefully follow all instructions located in the solicitation package concerning the content, format and submission of your quote.
All potential Quoters are advised that this solicitation includes the clause FAR52.212-4 (Oct 2003) for Commercial Items, System for Award
Management (SAM). This clause requires all contractors doing business with the Federal Government to be registered in the SAM database. Make sure to include your Unique Entity ID (UEI) number with your quote. The
Contracting Officer will verify registration in the SAM database prior to award.
On the specification sheet, Quoters must include a point of contact, and contact information (email and phone number), UEI for SAM, and insert price per unit and total of items bidding on. Please type information so that it can be easily read. Quotes will not be accepted if you fail to provide this information and in a typed format.
Only quote on those items specified, do not change the item or item description. If you fail to meet the delivery schedule or attempt to provide an item that doesn’t meet the specifications it will be noted as a performance issue and your bid for future orders may not be considered.
Quotes shall be received on or before Friday, November 29, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. Quotes received after the deadline will be handled in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f). Quotes shall be submitted electronically via email ONLY to rstallings@bop.gov .

Delivery will be accepted Monday-Friday, except Federal Holidays, 6:00 AM – 1:30 PM. Contact Aubry Spradling at 432-466-2437 to schedule delivery, and for delivery directions.
