About this file
This is a Counterfeit Prevention Plan that outlines the organization's comprehensive procedures for preventing the acquisition and use of counterfeit electronic component parts in federal contract work. The plan establishes a vendor qualification process requiring suppliers to be either ISO Certified or reviewed by the Engineering Authority using Form 170 (Quality Survey for Suppliers) and past performance history. All vendors must provide Certificates of Conformance for supplied parts, and non-OEM parts and materials require direct Engineering Authority certification and qualification.
The organization implements multiple detection and control measures including visual examination of all parts upon receipt by Material Control, technicians, and Quality Control personnel, with staff trained on counterfeit identification based on NSA/ESA/JAXA standards. Random sampling test results are requested from vendors as required, and all parts undergo testing during repair and final test processes. Suspect counterfeit parts are held in a bond area and processed as non-conforming material, with notification required to the Production Manager, Director of Engineering, customer's Item Program Manager, Contracting Officer, and Contracting Officer Technical Representative. The organization prohibits subcontracting of work requiring electronic component part placement and performs annual internal audits in accordance with its quality manual. The plan was digitally signed by Olpin Taylor Dale on February 5, 2026.
