The Cotton Ginning Research Unit and Sustainable Water Management Research Unit have a joint need for a cotton picker with on-board module building capabilities that produces plastic wrapped modules of seed cotton. The minimum acceptable specifications are:
• Spindle-type cotton picker, 560 HP rated
• Pro-16 row units with 40 inch row spacing
• In cab display equivalent to John Deere 4640 with JD Link connect
• 5 year subscription JD Link connect equivalent
• Harvest Doc Cotton yield monitor, or equivalent
• Harvest Identification system equivalent to John Deere Harvest Identification, Cotton Pro
• Active RMB Belt Cleaning Brush
• RTK GPS receiver and activations equivalent to StarFire 6000 with SF3 and RTK compatibility
