Issued by
Adams County, Colorado

About this file

The document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB-25-009) issued by the Board of Water Works of Pueblo, Colorado for an Annual Contract for Corporation Stops for its Transmission, Distribution & Engineering department. The solicitation seeks to establish a one-year contract for various sizes of AWWA threaded and compression corporation stops, with estimated 12-month usage quantities ranging from 40 to 180 units across six different specifications. The bid is scheduled to be opened on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. MST, with the contract period running from March 19, 2025, through March 18, 2026. Bidders are required to submit proposals electronically through the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System or via email, fax, or hard copy, with strict guidelines for submission.

The bid form requires vendors to quote unit prices for each corporation stop size, with the award to be made on an all-or-none basis. Pueblo Water explicitly states that all corporation stops must conform to AWWA Standard C-800-14, be lead-free, and meet specific technical requirements such as working pressure ratings and compatibility with Mueller B-100 drilling and tapping machines. The document lists pre-approved manufacturers (Mueller, Ford, and A.Y. McDonald) and provides a process for other manufacturers to seek approval. Payment terms include options for net 15, net 30, or net 60 days, with Pueblo Water's standard being net 30, and the ability to use procurement cards (P-Card) or check/ACH payments. The solicitation emphasizes that estimated quantities are based on past procurement records and do not guarantee specific order volumes.
