About this file
This document is a bid solicitation from Auburn University for the Poultry and Animal Nutrition Center in Auburn, Alabama, seeking suppliers for whole corn and soybean meal. The bid seeks approximately 110 tons of whole corn (8% quality) and 37 tons of soybean meal (47.5% quality) to be delivered over a three-month period. Delivery requirements specify auger truck transportation to the center located at 1088 Auburn Lakes Road, with deliveries to occur within 5 days of order during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). The contract allows for flexible load splitting between soybean meal and corn, with potential occasional delivery of additional feedstocks in the same shipment.
The bid document does not specify explicit pricing terms, funding sources, or contract award dates. Suppliers are expected to include delivery costs in their pricing and must be prepared to meet the specified delivery parameters. The solicitation appears to be a standard procurement request for agricultural feed supplies, targeting vendors capable of providing consistent, high-quality feed products to support the university's animal nutrition research and operations. No specific pricing constraints, set-asides, or incumbent supplier information is detailed in the provided documentation.
