About this file

This is a product specification document for a procurement of corn cob grit, though the specific purchasing agency or jurisdiction is not identified in the document. The procurement specifies the need for Corn Cob Grit #2040 Grade that must be diamond cut and dust free, with a total quantity requirement of 120,000 pounds. The product must be delivered in either 40-pound bags (3,000 bags total) or 50-pound bags (2,400 bags total). The document notes that the corn cob grit serves as an essential component in the larval rearing diet of the Mediterranean Fruit Fly, indicating this procurement is likely related to agricultural pest control or research programs.

The specification document does not include pricing terms, contract duration, response deadlines, funding information, or details about set-asides or incumbent suppliers. The brief nature of the document suggests it may be an excerpt from a larger procurement package or a preliminary specification sheet that would typically be accompanied by additional procurement terms and conditions in other contract documents.
