About this file

This is a Cost Proposal Sheet for a Kentucky state and local contract opportunity for Repair Parts for Light, Medium, and Heavy Duty Vehicles and Equipment. The solicitation requires bidders to submit pricing for all categories within their selected part type classification (light/medium duty or heavy duty), though bidders are not required to bid both types. The proposal covers 20 equipment line item categories, including Alternators and Starters, Batteries, Bearings, Belts and Hoses, Brake System Parts, Climate Control, Electrical and Ignition components, Lamps and Mirrors, Emissions and Exhaust systems, Engine and Drive Train parts, Engine Heating and Cooling, Filters, Gaskets and Seals, General Automotive Parts, Oils and Lubricants, Pumps, Repair Shop Supplies and Tools, Suspension and Steering components, Transmissions and Clutch, and Wipers and Windshield Fluids.

Pricing must be submitted as a discount percentage off the Manufactured Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) or List Price for each category, with all discount percentages required to be whole numbers. The cost workbook automatically calculates an Average Discount across all categories, which serves as the evaluation metric in accordance with RFP Section 6. The discount percentages offered in proposals are fixed for the life of any resulting Master Agreements and extensions; however, contractors may offer greater discounts at any time during the agreement term. Bidders must enter information only in designated yellow boxes on the proposal sheet.
