About this file

This document is a Scope of Work for a water control structure replacement project issued by the Ohio Division of Wildlife at the Killdeer Plains Wildlife Area in Marseilles Township, Wyandot County. The project involves two primary tasks: replacing the water control structures at "Pond 3" and "GTR West" locations. Each task requires removing existing concrete risers and pipes, disposing of materials off-state property, and installing new 8-foot AgriDrain control structures with 18-inch diameter pipes. The project is to be completed by June 30, 2026, with a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit scheduled for December 11, 2025. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with bidding conducted through OhioBuys as one complete task.

The Ohio Division of Wildlife will provide all materials and water control structures, while the contractor is responsible for supplying necessary equipment and performing the installation. The project includes specific requirements such as replacing riprap, refilling with topsoil, regrading, and reseeding disturbed areas. Invoices must be submitted directly to Ohio Shared Services through email, fax, or mail. The project location coordinates are provided for Pond 3 (-83.340, 40.715) and GTR West (-83.362, 40.702), and work is to be performed Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with prior approval required for any variations.
