About this file

This is a Contractor Questionnaire designed to evaluate the qualifications and capabilities of potential suppliers for the ACTUATOR, MECHANICAL, NONAIRCRAFT (NSN 3040-01-666-6471), Part Number 6631588-2, CAGE 96214. The questionnaire is part of a Sources Sought announcement (DLA-Aberdeen-26-039) issued by the Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center for spare components supporting the Common Sensor Payload (AN/AAS-53A), NSN 5855-01-641-5099, an Electro-Optic Infrared Sensor system manufactured by Raytheon Company. The Non-Uniformity Correction Assembly actuator is a critical component used to smooth IR imagery output.

The 12-question questionnaire requires respondents to provide company information including CAGE and DUNS numbers, point of contact details, and comprehensive documentation of relevant experience. Key evaluation areas include: past performance manufacturing or supplying the specific actuator; engineering staff qualifications in similar complexity components; experience identifying test equipment; obsolescence management processes and tools; capability to identify alternative materials for unavailable components; ability to meet U.S. Government delivery schedules; willingness to support long-term and IDIQ contract preferences; product inventory status; and supply chain risk assessment regarding vendor dependencies that could impact delivery. This questionnaire serves as an initial capability screening tool to identify qualified sources capable of supporting the government's requirements for this specialized sensor component.
