About this file

This is a Contractor Questionnaire for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aberdeen Sources Sought Announcement DLA-Aberdeen-26-021, which solicits suppliers for NSN 5995-01-218-6466, a Cable Assembly, Special Purpose, Electrical CX-13290/VRC (22 FT, 0IN) component used in SINCGARS (Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System) Installation Kits. The questionnaire requests detailed company information including CAGE Code, DUNS Number, and point of contact details. Respondents must demonstrate past performance in manufacturing and supplying similar items, with contract numbers, points of contact, and descriptions of direct support provided. The questionnaire evaluates engineering staff qualifications in design and production of components with comparable complexity and technology to SINCGARS systems, as well as experience identifying appropriate test equipment for similar components.

The questionnaire also assesses critical capability areas including obsolescence management and forecasting over a five-year period, implementation of monitoring tools and assessment programs to track component availability, and experience identifying alternatives for unavailable or obsolete materials. Respondents must address their ability to meet U.S. Government delivery requirements, inventory status, supply chain vulnerabilities, and production lead times. Critical to this solicitation is the requirement to demonstrate capability to successfully complete First Article Test (FAT) and commence delivery within 10 months of contract award, along with surge production capacity and timeline capabilities. The technical data package (TDP) with level 3 production information is available for release to qualified contractors.
