About this file

This document is a Contractor Questionnaire for a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) market survey seeking potential manufacturers for a SINCGARS radio mounting base (NSN 5975-01-188-8873, Mounting Base MT-6352/VRC). The questionnaire comprehensively evaluates potential suppliers' capabilities, requiring detailed responses about company background, technical expertise, supply chain management, production capabilities, and obsolescence mitigation strategies. Key requirements include the ability to complete First Article Testing (FAT) within 10 months of contract award, demonstrate engineering experience with similar radio system components, and provide a production lead time and surge capacity for the mounting base, which is a critical component of the Army's combat communications system.

The solicitation targets manufacturers who can supply a mounting base for the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS), a VHF-FM combat net radio used for soldier-to-soldier communications. The technical data package (TDP) is available and includes level 3 production information. Previously procured under contracts SPRBL1-20-D-0010 and SPRBL1-20-D-0013, this pre-solicitation market survey aims to identify qualified sources capable of producing the A3013367-1 part number with the specific CAGE code 80063. Potential suppliers must demonstrate comprehensive capabilities in radio component manufacturing, obsolescence management, and adherence to strict government delivery requirements.
