About this file

This is a contractor questionnaire template designed for potential bidders on the Husky Mounted Detection System (HMDS) 6B AN/VSS-6B sustainment Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.

The questionnaire is part of a Sources Sought announcement issued by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground for a pre-solicitation opportunity (W909MY26R0001-02). The contract will provide sustainment services for the HMDS 6B, a Counter-Explosive Hazard (CEH) system that uses Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology to detect metallic and low-metallic surface-laid and shallow-buried anti-tank landmines, trigger mechanisms, and deep-buried Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) for area access route clearance operations. Required services include HMDS technical services, depot-level maintenance, technical and logistics support, repair services, management data, and repair parts necessary for fleet sustainment and life-cycle management. The Government does not possess the Technical Data Package (TDP) for parts. This opportunity follows a previous Firm Fixed Price contract (W909MY-18-D-0014) with Chemring Sensors and Electronic Systems (CSES), formerly Non-Intrusive Inspection Technology Inc. (NIITEK), located in Dulles, Virginia. The Government reserves the right not to award based on responses to this sources sought notice.
