4. The solicitation for the requirement established that work would be performed in both Government and Contractor facilities. The multiple award nature of the contracts requires that task order requirements be competed among contract holders. Because work under task order requirements will depend on specific tasks across several geographic areas and will be competed among the seven contractors, a further breakdown of the work by geographic location cannot be reasonably estimated at the time of contract award.
Work performed under the contracts will be performed only in response to task orders issued under the contracts. Ordering under the contracts is anticipated to begin on September 30, 2026 and end on September 29, 2029. If all options are exercised, ordering will ultimately end on September 29, 2035.
5. At the time of contract award, $10,000 will be obligated on each of the seven contracts to fund the contracts’ minimum guaranteed amounts; the total minimum funding to be provided under the seven contracts combined is $70,000. The $70,000 in funding will be fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance, (Navy) funds that will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Subsequent task orders under the resultant contracts will be funded with appropriate fiscal year operations and maintenance (Navy) funds expiration of those funds will depend on the funds used when the orders are issued.
6. This announcement does not involve a foreign military sale.
7. The contract was competitively procured. The requirement was solicited electronically through the SAM.gov website (https://sam.gov/) as an unrestricted, competitive procurement. As SAM.gov is an online mechanism, the number of vendors solicited is unknown. Twenty offers were received in response to the solicitation posting.
