About this file

This document contains responses to industry questions regarding a construction contract solicitation. The solicitation is for a project to repair apron pavement at Muniz ANGB in Catano, Puerto Rico, with a project magnitude between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The work will be performed in accordance with provided drawings, plans, and specifications. Bidders are advised to attend the site visit. The responses clarify that asphalt repair is not part of the scope, and industry standards should be used to address water ponding areas if UFC/UFGS do not provide guidance. The area will be divided into sections to allow work while maintaining aircraft operations. The contractor must provide generators or water if needed, and is only responsible for re-painting runway lines impacted by the repair work. Working hours are as defined in the scope of work.
