2.0 Background
Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) needs access to electronic comprehensive Legislative Tracking and Congressional News and Analysis. These subscriptions, which LRRS has utilized for 15+ years, provide real-time news (through emails), insights, and state and federal legislative analysis, regulation, and government initiatives.
Subscribers personalize their feeds by signing-up for specific subscriptions or by search term.
For example, the terms “appropriations” or “livestock” ensure Congressional activities on those two subjects are delivered, as they happen. This targeted would take staff multiple hours and mailto:caroline.russell@usda.gov mailto:caroline.russell@usda.gov sources to find on their own. In addition to AMS users, the Under Secretary and Deputy Under Secretary for the Marketing and Regulatory Programs mission area utilize these subscriptions.
