About this file
This document is a Limited Source Justification under FAR Part 8 for a firm fixed price contract for 73 Atlantic Signal Comtac 6 tactical headsets and 73 Invictus dual comm push-to-talk adapters or equivalent. The contract will be set aside for small businesses and uses Operations and Maintenance funds. The justification cites a previous RFQ that received no quotes due to lack of a specific manufacturer or part number, leading to the decision to use a brand name or equal description. The estimated cost is determined to be fair and reasonable based on competitive quotations or offers. The related federal contract opportunity is Solicitation Number W50S6X-24-Q-0017 for the same tactical headsets and push-to-talk adapters, to be procured by the Department of the Army Delaware Army National Guard.
