About this file
This document is a job aid that provides instructions for submitting an electronic quote in response to a bid posted on COMMBUYS, the Massachusetts state procurement website. The bid in question is RFR #DYS POS 2018-01 for Hardware Secure Detention/Revocation Services for Females in the Central, Metro, and Northeastern regions of Massachusetts. The Department of Youth Services is procuring these detention and revocation services through a competitive process. The job aid walks through the steps for a vendor to create and submit a quote, including navigating the COMMBUYS portal, acknowledging the bid, entering quote details, and submitting the final response.
The job aid does not provide details on pricing, set-asides, incumbent vendors, funding sources, or other commercial terms. It focuses solely on the mechanics of submitting an electronic response through the COMMBUYS system.
