About this file

This document is a job aid for creating a quote in the COMMBUYS online procurement system in response to a state and local contract opportunity with the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). The contract opportunity is for capturing, leg banding, assessing the health, and determining contaminant levels of common loons nesting on DCR lakes, ponds, and reservoirs in Massachusetts, including the Quabbin Reservoir, Wachusett Reservoir, Paradise Pond, and Hycrest Reservoir. The job aid outlines the process for logging into COMMBUYS, navigating to the open bid, acknowledging the bid, inputting quote details such as delivery timeframe and payment terms, and submitting the final quote.

The contract will be awarded to the successful bidder, with no indication of an incumbent or set-aside requirements. The document does not provide specifics on pricing, funding sources, or contract term and renewal options. Interested parties must submit their quotes through the COMMBUYS system by the specified bid closing date in order to be considered for this state and local contract opportunity.
