About this file

This document is a job aid that provides instructions for creating a quote in COMMBUYS, which is a procurement platform used by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The job aid outlines the steps a seller would take to respond to a bid posted in COMMBUYS, including how to access the bid, acknowledge receipt, input quote details such as delivery days, shipping terms, and payment terms, and how to submit the quote. The bid details provided in the job aid include the purchaser, department, contact information, bid dates, required delivery dates, and a description of the goods or services being requested. The job aid also covers the review and approval process for submitting a quote, including acknowledging the terms and conditions and reviewing the quote summary before submission.

The pricing terms, set-asides, funding sources, and other financial details are not explicitly covered in this job aid, as the focus is on the mechanics of creating and submitting a quote in the COMMBUYS system.
